I have called to report a car that has been parked on our block for (Now ) at least 3 weeks--our area is where the hail damage was the worse-and it is difficult for contractors when the car is blocking access to parking close to the houses. I was advised by the supervisor of the hotline that it will take weeks. My concern is why do we pay taxes for our house if we cant get this taken care of? Our taxes pay their salary and they work for us. I am extremely disappointed in the response i got from the supervisor Lauren lee -- and feel they really dont care about the community

I left 1 star but it's for what the Humane Society isn't doing. I have a dead animal in the back alley, I'm assuming it was hit but I have called 5 times in a 46 hour period & it's still out there. They even told me once it was picked up. Mayor's hotline is closed so what's a person supposed to do? Stinks so bad you can't even go in the backyard. I suppose the only choice left is to take it out to the Humane Society & leave it at the front door so they know it's there. I bet they will understand my problem then.

When a driver is involved in an accident (their fault) and is driving with an expired drivers license, no plates, no in-transits, or proof of insurance; should they be allowed to drive away after giving very little information and a false phone #???

Get as much info as you can including plate number. Nothing stops anyone from driving off.

Who is the simpleton in charge of deciding which road get fixed when in this state. The situation between 140th and 150th, and Dodge and Pacific is idiotic. Someone should be fired.

Dirt roads are all near poor neighborhoods, , why are they not paved, they care only about the wealthy neighborhoods

There is suppose to be a 2 hour limit to park. Police patrol and look for violators.

why can't I get an answer on my complaint on the last snow removal on my street at 4345 Monroe. It was a contract truck that jumped the curb and tore up my sod between the street and sidewalk. I am disabled to repair the damage. Complained four

when will the damage be repaired. Other area have the same problem, evidently by the same driver. Driver was driving too fast or under the influence. Others have damaged areas and this neighborhood all have well kept up yards. I have sprinklers in that area and may have damage. Lousy commnunication. Request an answer and repair.

They need to fix 42nd street potholes.

I did forget about the holiday but still...late 2 or 3 weeks in a row. Contract not up yet but I will enjoy the bins as opposed to my little garbage cans...so you go girl!!

I'd like a break down of how the mayor spends our money. We are taxed more than almost anywhere in the world and yet our roads dont get replaced when they are supposed to. So either the mayor is misappropriating our tax money or is inept.

Rocky Graham | Sep 11, 2019

Roads do get replaced. Nebraska is one of the states with the highest tax rate.

How do i make a complaint about my area being ignored for snow removal for this system when they aren't open on Sundays? I had to shovel the street! in front of my house and then race the speedometer up to 80 to get out of my neighbo

Streets are usually done within 3 days. If you have to leave before the street is done thats on you. If this happens frequently maybe invest in a snowblower?

Did oppd properly staff for all these powers outages?

Lou Illis | Sep 11, 2019
Keith Graham | Sep 10, 2020

If there are too many outages, it can be overwhelming for us as well as OPPD. May I suggest having a backup plan when the power goes out?

Are they thinking about legalizing marijuana statewide, or federally? I have to put my foot down and say ABSOLUTELY NOT. I live off of Park Ave & Leavenworth and see so many people who do nothing but smoke cigarettes, marijuana, get drunk.

If they do pass it here , Nebraska will be able to deal with heroin, cocaine, meth, that cartels will bring more of, bad enough problem already , kosh program does not work, as you can tell

My bro says the city of Omaha doesn’t actually recycle. All trash goes to the same place. Is this true? How soon will we get the new waste barrels? Do different neighborhoods get different cervices?

James Kurtz | Sep 11, 2018
