I was there when I think I was 11 or 12 for 2 months, that was the safest I had ever felt! I am now 64 and always tell my husband when we are on the freeway that was the best place. Staff was amazing back then

This place is a joke! My niece was severely beaten last night while the staff did nothing, didn’t call the police nor they did they call an ambulance... they do nothing to protect the children, they are only there for a paycheck and not the best interest of the child!

Agencies can call and present a plan of what they would like to do for approval. But no one under 18.

New clothing items with tags attached can be dropped off at the shelter Monday through Friday from 7 am to 5 pm at the administration building.
Call the child abuse botline for San Joaquin County and make a report. I'm not sure why you can't take care of them anymore but I can tell you that you won't just be able to drop them off at MGCS. The shelter can't accept them. Just abandoning them somewhere will cause legal issues for you and that's not a memory that you want them to have... is it? Do you have family or friends... even in another state... that can take them in while you better position yourself for their care?
You would have to call CPS, and speak with a social worker.
