This hospital needs a lot of improvement!!! They don’t keep nothing confidential at all, they let everyone in the room know your symptoms/personal information. I had to ask for a confidential letter; ended leaving after 3hours of me waiting to get seen as everyone else did before me as well. The state board needs to go check this facility out and make some adjustments because this isn’t how you treat individuals seeking health treatments…

I have been sitting in the ED Surge area of this hospital almost 4 hours with a broken knee. I have watched many people come and go and I am still waiting for an X-ray to just see how bad the damage really is. Staff are friendly but ER is not managed properly. I worked in hospitals for many years, so I do recognize where the problems lie.

STAY AWAY From this Hospital is the Worse!!! We moved to this area last year. My son was in a car accident today and decided to bring him here just because it was the closest hospital but this was the worse decision I had made in my life. My son was alone in a hall way waiting for more than 3 hours While I was outside and couldn’t even be with him because he just turned 18 and now he is considered an adult. I requested for him to be released so I could take him to a hospital that I trust but they refused to even be with him. Medical staff aren’t professional at all. I don’t know how people with such low education are working in the medical field. Nurse at reception was so rude an unprofessional her name is Mayra but the worse was the nurse that supposedly in charge of my son ,his name was Izzy I requested to talk to a supervisor and no one was able to talk to me. At this point I decided to call the hospital and requested to speak to a supervisor they transferred me to Izzy the nurse and guess what! He hung up on me!! Very professional right!! The only person that was very helpful and professional was the security girl at the entrance her name was Portia He was very nice and try everything possible to keep me updated. The other staff members should learn from her.

If you are in need of emergency care you can be seen but may get a bill. They will assist you by helping you sign up for TEMPORARY emergency medi-cal but if you need follow up care with specialists you will need to complete the Medi-cal process with the Human Services Agency to finalize your medi-cal. If you need to just see a primary care doctor there, they have a sliding fee scale which means you would have to pay a fee to see the doctor but it's based on your income and family size. The sliding fee is ONLY for non-emergency primary care.

Yes, it's a really nice place for delivery. You won't be sharing during delivery but maybe afterwards where they monitor the mother and child overnight. But you can always ask.
