The room was a decent size for the price I paid. Bed’s were comfortable and the air was really nice after a hot day at Knoebels. Downside was when we showered the water smelled and tasted like strong metal. Free Breakfast was pretty depressing.. when places advertise free breakfast normally it’s done up better than this. And the overall look of the building was old, abandoned, and runned down, depserate need of an update. Overall, this is a good place for just an overnight but Id never stay for more than that.

The manager was extremely rude. We booked as a group with set rates, months ago. He tried to charge me more for 2 of our 3 nights, with the reasoning of "it is a busy weekend so we can charge more for other days". I pulled up our contract on my phone and he again told me that he cannot adjust the rates on his computer. We just stood there staring at eachother until he eventually magically changed the rates to those on my contract. He was extremely rude to other members of our group. Many of them left the hotel due to him threatening them and acting extremely hostile. The lobby had some questionable characters loitering around at all times of the day and night. The lady at the desk told us there was breakfast 6-10am. The first day, we were told "they didn't show up". The next day there wasn't an explanation, just no breakfast and nobody at the desk. On the 3rd day, as we checked out, breakfast was actually open. My kids actually enjoyed juice boxes and waffles. During our stay, the beds seemed clean. The rest of the room was questionable at best. The water has an overpowering smell of Sulphur and the tub did not drain effectively. After a 10 minute shower, you were ankle deep in dirty water. The a/c worked properly, but the hallways weren't cooled at all so it was sweltering walking to and from our rooms. Overall, would not recommend this hotel due to the manager's rude behavior and shady business practices.

If I had the option to leave ZERO stars I would. I had to book a hotel last minute because my son had an appointment at Geisinger and we live a couple hours away. We arrived at 9pm. Got our room key. I noticed it sounded like the window was open, so I checked and the window was cracked open and unable to close it. I called to order delivery and realized we had nothing to drink. The vending machines will charge your card and not give your stuff. The lady at the front desk was dressed provocatively and very unprofessional. The place is creepy to say the least. My bathroom walls and ceiling were falling apart as well. As of now I'm waiting to see if my account is charged multiple times because the front desk receptionist swiped my card AFTER I told her I already paid in full. My advice, stay elsewhere, unless the owner cleans this place up!

This stop was unexpected as we were visiting the area for medical purposes. We had no difficulty finding this Quality Inn, as it's located right alongside the main road. If I didn't drive up to the lobby door I'd have thought this building was closed for construction. The outer appearance was very run down. Personnel was very nice, but the room was, like the outside of the building, very run down. It did appear clean but we had no remote for the TV and both beds in the room squeaked. Not sure if we'd be returning here in the future.
