I visited World of Photography [at 1043 W. Third Ave. in the "Fifth by Northwest" neighborhood of Columbus] for my first time yesterday [9-6-2022]. I have ridden past there many times on the #3 COTA bus during the past several years but had not stopped there until yesterday. I had had several different reasons to visit that neighborhood yesterday so I decided to stop at World of Photography first. I immediately "felt at home" at World of Photography because my family has an extremely long history with photography. • My mother's father had been a photographer at the former Buckeye Steel Castings [on Parsons Ave. in Columbus] and also had photographed some of my early childhood. • My father had photographed many of our family events over the years: (1.) black-and-white photographs that he would develop and print in a darkroom that he had built in our basement, and (2.) color Kodachrome slides that he would mail to Findlay, Ohio to be processed. • I am a retired semi-professional photographer who had previously taken many black-and-white photographs [with a 35mm "single lens reflex" camera] and would develop and print those photographs in the same darkroom that my father had built; I now take many photographs [with my smartphone] each week and then edit those photographs with my computer and then post them to Google Maps. I had felt like "a child in a candy store" while at World of Photography because I had been able to see many examples of photographic equipment that I had not seen in many years, including Polaroid SX-70 film [I am astonished that they still make that film] and Ilford products [for example, black-and-white film, printing paper, and chemicals]. If you are looking for current photographic equipment and/or vintage photographic equipment, I strongly recommend World of Photography.

Very helpful and knowledgeable, wasn't pushy on the sales. Great selection.

They have a wide variety of analog and digital equipment to choose from, as well as darkroom supplies. Mostly Ilford chemistry, but they do carry Kodak, Fuji Ilford and Retropan films. Being a native Chicagoan of 30 years, This is the Central Camera Company of Columbus Ohio. If you're a native Chicagoan visiting Columbus Ohio, visit here FIRST! You won't be disappointed, unless if you are looking for Kodak darkroom supplies. Otherwise, you may have to settle for Ilford.

Stop in and have a nice talk with Gary or one of his "kids" (read knowledgeable associates) if you like what you see, you will buy from these guys they're regular people.

Hi Brandon, we only sell individual rolls for 8.99 each. We have about 50 rolls in stock, hopefully we will see you soon. Gary
I see them there from time to time
This is not a print store. They specialize in vintage cameras, film, etc. They do sell dslr equipment but you should go to Midwest Photo if you want dslr only
Give them a call. If they don't have it now they will let you know when 1 comes in.
I'd guess about 250 for the lens or much lens for an extender. Their rental prices are fair.
