I had a doctors office that used third-party billing and had a horrible communication issue with that third-party. I have paid all my bills but yet the third party had reported me. I paid my bill but I did not owe directly and spoke with the doctor personally and he assured me he would get it all corrected. I sent a copy of the receipt to choice recovery. They would not except it until they heard from the third party. Because I did not pay it through choice even though I gave them a receipt for a bill that I did not owe and I paid in good faith to keep my credit score in good standing. Choice recovery reported to the credit agencies anyways. These guys can’t be trusted!!! Liars!!!

I am so grateful to Misty Davis for helping me. I was really distraught when I received the debt notice, but when I spoke to Ms. Davis she was truly great and she definitely helped me when I thought my situation was hopeless. She was a TRUE professional and I will sincerely be proud that I had someone like her on my side. She is the BEST!! I recommend this agency with all sincerity.

How do i pay a collection for 23dollars
If they possess the information it would be a hipaa violation. They can not legally make you pay for something that they can't tell you what it was for. They purchase debt from a hospital at a major discounted rate and attempt to make you pay the full amount they say you owe. What a world we live in. Here's the kicker- the hospital writes your non-payment off on their taxes. They are without a doubt profiting from you not paying your medical bills. And then Choice Recovery is ruining your credit and attempting to re-profit off your medical bills.
Why am I getting double billed for 1 the same thing twice,2 and for having insurance at that I don’t think I’ll be paying twice as you have it on the same day same price as you have posted by the way it be nice if I can get a phone call
Sad part is they don’t get in any hurry to remove it. They can leave it on your credit report for up to 10 years. That is what ticks me off with the whole credit reporting process. I believe you can get it removed if you are willing to pay to have it removed,that’s why I think the whole process sucks.
Go to annualcreditreport.com It is the only place where you can get all three of your reports once a year at no charge. On your report, if the debt shows, then there will be an account number and contact info for them.
