Yes you can!! $10 an hour donation that goes to the cats care, etc.
You can
You can surrender your cats at Oakland animal services which is where cat town rescues their cats.
Pretty sure just about every cat is spayed or neutered before it is available for adoption.
I don't think they get kittens. They get the cats that need to adjust to humans before getting adopted.
Please contact OAS
Cats are not sold here but they are available to adopt. Cat Town specializes in cats that need extra love, support and patience including older kittens and unsocialized older cats. If you want something that meows, there's probably an app for that.
She is not blind, but she has a neurological condition that we are monitoring.
Just so you know. Cat town doesn't typically take cats from individuals, as they work primarily with Oakland Animal Services. I would advise you to contact OAS first
I didn't see any type of a room for parties
Our process is pretty simple. If you would like to meet cats at our Adoption Center, you can come in anytime during open hours (Wed-Sat, 10-7, Sun 10-5) to meet our cats there. We have Adoption Counselors available to assist you in finding the right match. We just ask that you come in at the top of the hour. If you are interested in meeting cats in our foster program, then it's best if we have a phone conversation to see which cats might be best for you to meet. Once we do that, then we arrange a time for you to meet the cat in it's foster home. We don't currently have an single orange kittens. The adoption fee is $50.
Visitors welcome! We have a $10 reservation fee to spend an hour with the cats. Walk-ins are welcome when space allows, but we recommend booking in advance through our website. The reservation fee is waived for adopters.
No. The goal of the place is to get their cats adopted.
Record what? The cats? It is okay, and no fee.
With the help of Cat Town, the euthanasia rate at OAS has decreased from 42 to 14 percent.
Their website says yes: "To donate by mail, kindly send a check, payable to Cat Town, to: Cat Town P.O. Box 18675 Oakland, CA 94619"
No, but I think they might have treats you can buy at the cafe to give to the cats. They are very particular about what the cats ingest.
No, but their model has spread all across the country. There are now several cat cafes in several states! :D
