As a visitor from Melbourne Australia two weeks ago this was a life's journey in memory of my Mum who loved the Kennedys and always wanted to travel to Hyannis. Mum passed this on to me, so the journey began. I couldn't sleep as this meant so much to me I sat outside the Museum at 5:00am with coffee in hand. Knowing I was too early I decided to walk to the Kennedy Compound to be as close as I could, shared the moment with Mum, grabbed some sand and walked back to the Museum which was an amazing experience. The exhibits were incredible, the staff amazing, the store was fun, I wanted to buy it all. I also visited the JFK Memorial and the Presidential Library at Columbia Point. To me this whole experience was " a brief shining moment" Thank you for sharing the experience of your President, your Museum and your town with the World.

The Creating Camelot exhibit will be shipped back December 13th. We will have a new exhibit for spring 2022.
The Kennedy Compound in Hyannisport is private. The Kennedy Museum on Main Street Hyannis is open year round but there are no grounds per se. They offer benches to sit on and a bronze statue of JFK in a dune setting. However you can walk the Rose Kennedy Walkway from the museum to Hyannis Harbor. A nice stroll.
Hi T - we were hoping to be open on weekends by now - but it may not happen until later this month. The challenge has been staffing the weekend hours of operation.
