Best theater in Milwaukee. So nicely remodeled, even though not fully finished. It is a great unique place to watch movies. Also they do have special old movie screenings that are worth it.

The senior discount is $2 off regular screenings. That makes matinee prices $7, and evening prices $9!

Unfortunately there is limited parking near the Oriental theater. Street parking is usually your best bet otherwise there are small parking lots within walking distance such as the parking lot outside Beans and Barley. However, unless you get lucky you will most likely need to park and walk a bit to get to the theater. But it's definitely worth it.

Hi Cary - those designations are meant to describe which of the three screens the film is showing on in the Oriental theatre (East, West, Main) - they are all still in the same movie theater!
Matinee prices are all movies screened before 1pm, and senior prices are $8 all day long

Closest would be the Astor . If you're looking for something less expensive theres La Quinta Inn Milwaukee Glendale Hampton Ave. Its only slightly farther. Easy to get to. Otherwise downtown Milwaukee has a few great upscale/ boutique type hotels. Aloft, Hotel Metro...

For exact (or estimated) times that they'll be in the theater, contact the theater itself. They will likely have the Oscar nominated/winning films for a couple weeks unless there are some popular commercial releases around that time.
