Great experience.

A very cool specimen of the Navy's history and a great place to visit after the USS Constitution, the disparity between the two ships is amazing. The smells are very immersive.

Nice piece of history. Not too crowded. Friendly Ranger to answer questions.

A destroyer to visit for free, it worth it, it is an half hour visit, max, good combination with the USS constitution visit... Better to come on Sunday and enjoying the free parking in the Boston streets, alternatively, the nearest public parking are generally cheaper on weekends.

Absolutely no. The USS Cassing Young was commissioned in 1943 and served in the World War 2 participating also in the battle of Leyte gulf and Okinawa. Then she served during the Korean war and was active till 1960. She is actually laying down in Boston Harbour in her last configuration. A very nice visit for me, hope you'll have the same.
