I set up a reservation 3 months in advance to stay here and due to scheduling changes, unforeseen on my end and had to cancel and they didn't refund my money. So in essence, they get my $1000+ and when they rent the room out when I was going to stay they get that too. To me, this is theft! They get $1000+ for nothing!!!! Plans change and another hotel that I had to cancel was more than happy to help me out and cancel and refund my money!!!

Hello! We were guests at Sonder visiting family, which I understand is separate from Pierce. Unfortunately this was an incident with Pierce staff - your concierge Diana was incredibly rude to us during our stay when we asked for help with the elevators when one was broken. She did not want to assist us at all and seemed angry when we asked her for help. When she was walking away she said we were just Sonder guests, so hopefully long term residents are not treated similarly! Either way I think something should be done to address this situation - I would not recommend people to live or stay here after this experience. As an added note: In general there is a sense of hostility between the front desk staff and Sonder guests. Hopefully this can be worked out to allow a more enjoyable experience for everyone involved, whether short- or long-term residents.
