Trying to ship a table from Sarasota to Milwaukee. Need pick up, crating, and shipping. Reviewed their website first and found what they call white glove service. Showed pictures of a gentleman with a dolly and a box standing in front porch of someone’s home and another picture of them taking a TV off of a wall. Called and spoke with Kyle Roberson and explained in detail what was needed, assured they could do it and would get back to me shortly with a quote...he got back to me with the hour, but he stated they could not move personal items. What? That’s certainly not what is depicted on their web site. From their site 8/2/2020 SERVICE OPTIONS We offer a variety of residential delivery options. They range from standard to customized white glove delivery services. All services provide direct pickup and delivery to your customers. Standard Service Doorstep: Delivery to the front door or curbside. White Glove Delivery Services Front door: 2 person delivery inside the front door. Skidded or crated freight is delivered to first dry area or garage. Room of choice: 2 person delivery in receiver's room of choice. Premium: 2 person delivery in customer's room of choice, unpacking and debris removal.

I called the Milwaukee Terminal around 6PM on Thursday, July 5th, to find out when my freight would be delivered. The guy told me it would be one of the first deliveries, for sure between 9:30 and 11. I went to the delivery point and waited 2 hours before calling again, the girl told me "Between 3 and 4 today" so, I wasted two + hours of my day waiting for a delivery.....a phone call would have been nice...........

A large chunk of debris flew off one of these trucks and left a bullet-sized crack in my windshield. After filing a police report and filing a claim with the company, Averitt Express decided that they did nothing wrong and refused to pay for damages. It took a full two weeks for me to hear from the claims department; through the form of a written letter no less. What year is this, 1973? I gave them my email and phone number after all. It is clear that Averitt Express does not strive for quality in regards to safety standards. If you live in the Milwaukee area, avoid driving anywhere remotely near these trucks!
