My daughter just started hippo therapy in September and the staff and volunteers have been fantastic in helping her adjust. They bent over backwards to ease her into the experience. Now, rather than being full of fear, she giggles as she trots around the ring.

My daughter is autistic and loves horses. She has enjoyed attending NCTRC for years and I do not think that she would be as far as she is without it. The horses are amazing and the volunteers and staff are wonderful!! I cannot recommend them enough!!

We are so profoundly grateful that we found the NC Therapeutic Riding Center. Our daughter has thrived in her therapy sessions working with her horse, Emmy, and her therapists Margie and Francesca. It is safe to say that the only therapy session she actually looks forward to is here, and the excitement and anticipation of getting to ride Emmy brightens her day. The staff at the Center are amazing and we are forever grateful for their care and kindness to our girl.
