My daughter (6) was always playing with and talking about horses. Her friend rode horses so the interest was there. My daughter had never been really close to a horse other than from afar. We decided to take her to CLS to let her see and ride a horse. Greatest decision we ever made. She fell in instant love with not only the horses but the staff as well. The smile this little girl has when at CLS and around the horses is unbelievable. CLS doesn't just teach how to ride horses, they teach the connection with the animal. The children learn to care for and connect with the horses. CLS has championship winning horses and a championship staff. Our family is at the stable 2-3 times a week. Quite literally one of the greatest experiences and changes in our lives.

We had our sons 9th birthday party at the stables on Saturday and it was amazing!! Michelle Lovell Jones took such good care of all of our guests and birthday boy. The party room was clean and everything was ready for us when we arrived. I had been in contact with Michelle prior to the party date via text when I had questions about party details and she answered my questions right away. Everyone at the stables helps with the birthday parties. The young ladies that volunteered for our party showed the kids the goats and educated us on them and took us to see the chickens and one solo duck that hangs with the chickens. The pig was more than welcoming of belly rubs. I honestly can’t say enough about these wonderful ladies!! Everyone Finn met there wished him a happy birthday and made him feel so loved. This day was a very special one for him!! They made us all feel welcome and we had 15 kids + adults, it was a busy day!! Nice work ladies and keep up the great work!! You really have a special place and wonderful staff of volunteers!! Thank you all so very much!!

We did the birthday party package, and it was great. Of course, the horses were a big hit, but they had actually had a play area with games set up in the area where the kids were waiting their turn-- with an attendant (huge bonus). This made the experience so much fun for the kids. We felt really safe with Michelle who fitted all the helmets and make sure the kids got on and off the horse well. The party room was really well equipped with lots of counterspace to set up the food. Given that it came with a sink and several outlets, we had no problems bringing food and setting up an already heated crockpot with meatballs. This was really great.

Your first lesson is free, after that you do have to pay. The cost depends on the horse you have to talk to Parker about that. We don’t usually got the first little while. We put you on horses that suit your capabilities at the time. We are located on Darwick Road on the East side of WS

We organize trail rides on occasion, but we are largely a lesson facility. Tanglewood Park offers lovely trails.
We offer a free introductory lesson with the purchase of a lesson.
Not sure if you're looking to help out or get a job, but they have kids volunteering as early as 11. It would be best to go talk to Parker ot Kathleen. They would be the ones to make the decision.
