Spacious campsites with picnic tables and fire rings, no BBQs. The famous Santos bike trails are found here! Enjoy!! Clean bathroom and shower area, no laundry that I could find.

Great biking

Rode from here and hit about 60% of the trails, maybe, then spent about 3 hours at the vortex section jumping. There are a good mix of options all over the place, the drops into the Vortex pit go from mild to very wild. It was a nice warm and moist 90 degrees and 85% humidity, just a perfect FL day in August for MTB riding. - would have liked to spent more time finishing the trails, but we will come back in January for that!

Small, open campground with RV hookups. The grounds are well kept, bathrooms were clean, and you don't need to drive to get to the trails from the campground. Mountain biking, hiking, and horse riding trails are all over the place. This is part of the Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway Rec Trails. Only downside is that about half of the camping spots at Santos do not have any or very little shade.

Are you hiking? Or cycling? Stop by the campground entrance they should be able to help w hiking. Santos bike may have trail map. Not surem
There is no age limit. My son learned to ride a bike really early (2.5 years) so he was there before age 3. My dad is 60+ and he rides there twice a week. Just use common sense and don't try anything, or have your kids try anything, that they're not ready for. Yellow trails are easiest, blue trails are medium, and red trails are hardest.
The Santos campground doesn't have a swinging area.
Depends on what ranger is on duty and how busy the campground is. They are pretty lenient when they have extra room, but on busy weekends and holidays if they let one site bend a rule everyone wants to overdo it. Otherwise it's two cars or one rv and one car. If you are nice about it, other campers with one vehicle will usually let you park an extra one in their spot. (Overflow parking is east of the campsite loop.) Have fun!
Probably
You can I believe it's 120 to 150 a week but check their site to make sure
If that is true thay you cant have e-bikes,its 2 bad cuz it's a nice trail
It is, but please keep dogs on leash My son and his friend were threatened on a bike trail recently by an off leash dog whose owner could not catch or control him, it was pretty scary.
If you didn't have the answer why answer? Smh.. oh I didn't think of that one!!!
I've never the paved trail, but it's asphalt, I 've pretty much rode all the mountain bike trails, fun.
Yes, there is a pumptrack, but It needs some repair
Yes you can rent bikes nearby & yes it is the vortex trail
Yes, 2 showers in the men's restroom with warm water.
Yes its across from the Santos trailhead entrance greenway bicycles
Paved trail is around 16 miles one wsy... 32 forward and back
Go online or go to the office and register
There's no water in the general area. So I would say no.
Is it accessible from the Santos trailhead? I didn't think so.
The fat tire festival is open to the public. The trails are open to ride and demo bikes manufacturers have there to show off. Go have fun!
Not that I'm aware of. There are maps you can follow through.
No. But please wear helmet, its also the law. And only ride trails to your ability. Yellow is all level, blue little bit more technical and reds are technical.
