Wanted to share a positive experience with this location 3500 sw College Rd ,Ocala FL We were traveling Sept 2nd from Lake Placid ,FL to Georgia. At a point of getting unto I-75 we decided to give our dog Ginger a dog biscuit but quickly realized they were buried in the car somewhere, We saw I think a petsmart sign pulled into the shopping plaza to realize they were not open for another hour .Well I took my chance thinking well I'm hoping this Business next door can help ,I went in told my story to Julie who quickly went into action I'd only ask for one dig biscuit ,Julie ask are you sure only one ? She said she's gonna need more I left with 3 lol. Could not have asked for better customer service, and not being a customer, Julie and Josie are definitely great staff ! Thanks to these two Friendly great members of your staff ,Miss Ginger had dog biscuits to GA Hoping this will reach there presence as I did tell I would thank them in writing ! Thank you Julie and Josie it was great meeting you both ,Andre Kent Lake Placid ,FL continue that great customer service !

Called the pet hospital to get my cats nails trimmed. Asked them when the best time was and they said I can come in the same day at 3pm . So I took it, drove 45 mins there to be told I Have to wait for next available tech . A hour later, techs walking around doing nothing going in petsmart and all that but can’t take five mins to clip his nails and get a weight. Long story short, after two hours and still no service I walked out. Thank you for nothing.

Absolutely. Thats the best part of using Banfield.
No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
Hi Joan - Our recommendation is to work with your regular veterinarian to discuss options. They would know what is best for your dog's condition and care. If you’re an Optimum Wellness Plan client, you can also ask pet health questions 24/7 via Vet Chat in the Banfield app.
Hi Jaime - We recommend that you continue to work with your regular veterinarian to discuss treatment options. They would know what is best for your pet's condition and care for your puppy.
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including: • Vaccinations • Dental Care • Parasite Control • Nutritional Counseling • Behavioral Counseling • Comprehensive Examinations
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
it costs $250 for a small cat in other places, it pays to have a wellness plan when your dog or cat is old or sick.
Hi Kamara - Thanks for reaching out! Many of our veterinarians treat exotic animals and small mammals. Contact your nearest Banfield Pet Hospital to find out if they are equipped to treat your pet, or with any specific questions you may have regarding bringing your exotic pet or small mammal in for a veterinary visit. https://www.banfield.com/our-hospitals/hospital-locations
The plan is definitely worth doing. It includes teeth cleaning, saves you lots of money on products and meds. Includes all preventative shots and no charge for doctor visits. All my pets are on special care which includes much more like xrays and lab tests.
