Nice county campground located a couple hundred yards from the ocean beach and the Tillamook Bay jetty. There are several short trails from the campground to the beach. Lots of tent spots and many full hookup RV spots. There is a big sand hill you can climb for a nice view of the bay and ocean. The campground also has a nice playground for the kids too.

Would NOT recommend for tent campers. Lots of hidden fees when you show up to check in, even after paying upfront when booking. Our cost online was $89, showed up to check in and they charged us $38 more. When I asked where they post online about extra fees upon arrival, the teenagers running the check in booth said they've looked and can't find them on the website. Also, park hosts don't control campers so you'll hear drunk campers screaming all hours of the night. Choose a site AWAY from the playground. Our friends were directly across from the playground and the drama was unreal. Kids cussing up a storm, using racial slurs, kids physically hurting other kids non stop. I had to stop a physical fight between an adult man and a teenage boy (who did not know each other). It was a wild camping trip, to say the least. Three stars for close location to a truly beautiful beach and well maintained bathrooms! If you're in an RV, you may be able to escape the drama, the drunken campers, the unsupervised children all over the place and the never ending noise.

Great campgrounds and day use areas. Campground is pretty large, with everything from full hookup rv sites to hike in sites. Lots of trails to wander through to the beach. Beach is a nice long clean stretch all the way to rockaway. Great fat tire biking with the dog. Bathrooms were open and clean, but the showers were closed due to staffing issues. There is a general store on site, but was closed during our stay. Overall great place to stay with a good amount of things to do in the area.

⚠️REMEMBER⚠️ YOU ARE LOVED❤ This is an amazing place to camp with family and or friends! 🫂 View from the Jetty is wonderful! 🌅 Early in the morning you can walk on the beach to find sand dollars and agates near the Jetty. 🦀 Enjoy your time here, life is too short! 🥰

Yep! It's quite fun! Just be safe. It's also fun to walk along the Jetty.
Yes, picnic tables are everywhere.
We just clean up and leave.
And due to short staff they closed the showers off so it's just toilets. For those who are tent camping bring a solar shower
No showers at all for the summer. They say it's because of lack of staffing.
*Update* Yes, there is a website with pictures*** No,but I can tell you the A sites start by the entrance and the V and W sites are closer to the Ocean.
Basically anytime as long you got reservations. Just pay in the morning.
Yes you can
There is camping, though some of it is still closed. https://www.co.tillamook.or.us/gov/parks/campgrounds.htm
I was wondering how to reserve a camping spot for a tent
Think 4 is check in however if your reserved space is empty you can check in sooner.
Get a spot now or u may not be able to the place fills fast
We have been told no weddings on the beach. I just did Photography for one at Barrview. We were quick and and everything was fine. But yes check with staff.
Some spots are tight for rvs. We had a 26 (total length) 5th wheel and stayed in the U area just fine.
Lots of spaces generally available just call to be sure
Currently no ban on campfires however No Beach burning.
It's all good!
Only at the full service RV sites and a very few tent sites that are next to RV site.
It is a very busy park but.... ...there are some spots available at times. Best to check the Tillamook County Parks website and grab the park's phone number for current availability. Enjoy my favorite "off season" place on the planet.
Call them and they should be able to change your reservation date.
Tillamook County Parks online reservations would be able to show you all of the available camp grounds and campsites that are available on specific dates.
I did thay once and my spot was reserved. There wasn't any other spots available so we ended up going somewhere else for the night.
In your campsite and under your control, no problem. Also you can generally let them run on the beach, though this is kind of a gray area.
I don't believe so.
The pull thru are 80+ feet, the middle back Ins are around 40 feet the back ins against the fence are around 60+.Been there as a host.
Was there for the week from the 21st to the 25th and it was so nice. We had no restrictions what so ever. Hope that helps.
Yes, unless there is a burn ban. It was extremely windy when we were there (Aug) and I'm sure it would have blown sparks onto our tent so we didn't have a fire. -Tent site #1 w/electric.
All campsites have a firepit. We were there last week and had a fire every night.
It's first come first serve, I think it's still open then, it's seasonal. Try middle of the week, weekend busy.
