Beautiful forest area. Roads in are hardly suitable for anything larger than vans. Most sites are great for small rigs/tenters, not many level spots. Lake is also beautiful. Water access for small crafts.

Make sure you have a all wheel drive car with good clearance. Lots of puddles and potholes. Some hicks like to blast up their music camping nearby. Small lake. Kayaking would be fun. People fish there. Probably 6 campsites. Get there early to get the best campsite near the front. Would recommend to go once.

Yeah, was out there over the weekend. Lots of people near the lake, so we just drove up the road and found a private spot a few minutes away
The road from hebo isn't as rough as the other way.
Weekends are pretty full during the week not many people
Its free, but be aware of all the trash. Disappointing to see people leaving this trash behind on such a beautiful area.
