Stopped by this afternoon to see if this dealership had any Serial 1 Electric Bicycles (since Harley Davidson makes them and claims they are available to test ride at their dealerships). Was informed by the sales person that not only did the dealership not have any for sale or showcase, but he could not resist to tell me that they were a failure for Harley Davidson and that dealerships have been unable to sell them since they released in 2020. He then had the nerve to ask me why don't I buy a "real bike", to which I replied I already owned 4 motorcycles. An absolutely miserable experience and a testament to the failure of the brand. I hope that one day once HD finally kicks the bucket, that they will see that it isn't that they make bad bikes, or didn't try the right things to progress the company into the future, but will see that their customer/employee base is filled with people who would rather see the company die in the past than to let it see the future. I had pretty low expectations when stopping by, but somehow in my short 2 minute experience, this place somehow managed to still disappoint.

I just bought an older 2000HD ULTRA GLIDE that's been sitting for a few yrs. Service dept didn't want to help me refreshing fluids and get it running. They said bike was too old to work on. It's still a Harley, right????. They are my local dealer but will never see my bike. I went home, drained the fuel and replaced with fresh. Bike started right up and runs like a champ. Now to a different dealer to have it COMPLETELY serviced with new tires installed. Lakeland HD,,, your loss.

I was here recently and I was very disappointed. The guy that helped us initially was very nice but the second guy, an older man, was very rude to us. He told us there was nothing he could do to work with us on getting a bike. He talked down to us like we were his children and made us feel like we couldn’t ever own a bike because of our credit and insane downpayment they were asking for. Before we even left the building everyone was clocking out and taking off their work shirts and leaving. They didn’t care for us at all. And the vibe altogether was terrible. A couple of days later we went to Tampa Harley Davidson and my experience was 100% better. They even stayed past closing time to ensure we were satisfied. Now we are bike owners!! I’m not saying this will be everyone’s experience but this is mine and I will never recommend coming here. Specially if you’re a first time buyer. They will tear you to shreds and make you feel like you’re not worth their time. 1 star is too much honestly.

Best motorcycle shopping experience I've had in years, friendly and helpful staff.

They have towing up to 45miles from the Dealership, also it's free of charge as long as you're willing to have them work on it. I know cause I used to do the towing there.
Weekends are busy. Try Brian's Hawg Farm.
They do provide roadside assistance but they are currently closed.

As long as it is an oil designed for use in an Air cooled engine you can use it in there. Also in the trans as long as it has a friction modifier for a wet clutch. I run Syn3 in the engine and Belray in the trans and primary of every Harley I have owned. My 16 Street Glide included. I won't use anything else. Both can be bought at Lakeland Harley-Davidson.
Their website says they are closed on Mondays, which July 5th happens to be this year.
older bikes will get wiring failures at the steering head bearing area due to turning the bike bends the wires there.
