I lived here for two years and it's a bit of a mixed bag. The property is very nice, and is in a nice location, but overall the apartments don't seem very well maintained and have a very weird old musty/moldish smell. My AC unit barely worked (It can get up to 82 degrees depending on how hot it is outside), and the AC unit doesn't really do too much to help with the heat until the sun has set. The unit looks ancient and I'm fairly certain it's nearly 30 years old or so. Additionally the insulation in the bedrooms was very bad so it could get very cold in them during winter. The buildings also look like they could use a good power washing, and the carpets could all use replacing (ours is old and scratchy feeling). I think this is changing as I believe I've seen apartments getting hardwood floors or new carpets as tenants move out (don't quote me on that though). There is no dedicated laundry room so the washer/dryer are in the closet in one room leaving said room without a closet which is a bit unusual. Luckily our water heater works well, the dryer and washer don't have any issues, and the stove/oven, disposal, and dish washer all work well. The rent is quite low so overall it seems like a bit of a you get what you pay for situation. I ended up moving to The Overlook at Stonemill and I think it's worth the extra money per month to live somewhere a little nicer. However, if you're on a budget and need a mostly okay place to live I'd say Huntingwood is worth considering, but know it'll have it's downsides.

There’s sometimes a strange smell that comes from the water heater closet if you open it. The drawer handles on the bathroom sink are fake, only the cabinet doors are real. You pay a 150$ deposit but get charged for last months rent on top …

Very disappointed with the treatment received while renting from here. After our experience I would not recommend these apartments to anyone I know. Had we been treated with respect or kindness and our problems addressed and resolved maybe, as the outside is beautiful but the condition of the apartments is sub par. We had to constantly battle to get our stuff actually fixed. The constant quote from the repair man was β€œlooks fine to me” when it wasn’t working. The tub was never fixed, the heat and air never worked properly, the flush never was repaired on the toilet, the washer and dryer would only work halfway, and the water heater was never replaced or repaired after several tickets made to look at it leaking all over. Our neighbors water heater caught fire twice during the time we lived there. Over all not a very pleasant experience. And pet friendly doesn’t mean that you’ll be treated friendly if you have a pet. If anything you have a target on your back for further harsssment, especially if the pet is a service animal or ESA with paperwork as in our case.
