Overall, this apartment complex is good. Is it the most luxurious place in Lynchburg? No. Is it a relatively safe, clean, economic friendly place to live? Yes. We have had a pleasant experience with the staff. The neighbors are truly a hit or miss though. I've lived in two different apartments here, and one neighbor screamed and yelled at their children every day. The other place we hardly heard a peep from anyone. So, it is somewhat of a gamble. The reason I am giving this place 1 star is because of how we ended the lease. My fiancee at the time signed a lease for a 2 bedroom apartment effective June 1 with a roommate. We then got married in October, and did a roommate switch of sorts. Her roommate moved out (and thus got off the lease) and I took her place. Now, at the time when we were signing the paperwork, my wife and I were under the impression that it was a roommate swap, so our lease would thus be ending May 31, 2020. However, as we were getting ready to move in April, we surprisingly found out that our lease was renewed for another year, effective November 1, 2019. With our plans to move firmly in place we had no choice but to pay out an exorbitant fee to end our lease early (though in a sense it was going to end May 31). I am very displeased with how they are grabbing for money through these closing costs. When we lived there, we received good help from the staff. However, it was very disheartening to see the management show no mercy to us, even though we had paid on time and were clean residents. Because of our distasteful exit, I can't in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. However, in their defense, apart from our closeout mess, I'd give this place 3.5 stars.

Used to enjoy living here because of its affordability and quick access to a swimming pool, however rent has increased yearly to now almost $800 for just a 2 bedroom, making it no longer worth the money to live here. Additionally, my electric bill is always twice that of my friends who live in other apartment complexes nearby, despite me being very energy-conscious. The appliances are outdated (with frequent electrical problems that have never gotten fixed), the walls are extremely thin and painted over with each new renter (previous renters' wall stickers were simply painted over), rotting carpets, upstairs neighbor stomps around all day, infested with BUGS despite constant efforts to avoid them (spiders, crickets, roaches, beetles), no storage space, kitchen cabinets are made of old, rotting cork or something which flakes off every time you wipe them to clean, NOT pet friendly ($250 non-refundable deposit plus $50 a month for small pets only), no lights in living room or bedrooms, maintenance has failed to pick up after a storm which happened months ago, management is unfriendly, poor access to single charcoal grill, poor access to dumpsters. This place is not worth the money at all! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
