We used both ranges. The place is always impeccably clean. We didn't rent anything. Range time is a bit more expensive than typical in Kentucky, and you have to pay for your first target, something included in rentals in KY. All in all, it's very well run. They take safety and service seriously.

The staff has always been polite and professional. I even had one staffer try and help me adjust my laser on my gun. Their facility has a nice assortment of guns and ammunition. The training classes was very informative.

This is a very professional gun shop and range! Having both indoor rifle and pistol ranges offers solid variety, and being able to rent guns is fantastic for trying something new. They have a pretty decent selection and I really appreciate that they have a daily list of what's in stock in store, so if there is something specific you are looking for you can always check their website first. Though just stopping by to browse is fun too!

SafeSide Tactical is an excellent gun store and range. (There's also axe throwing). Personally I've had many great conversations with the employees at SafeSide. They've helped suggest different firearms depending on my preferences and their selections is excellent. In the end I purchased my firearm online due to availability, but they helped work me through this process. Their available firearms for rental is staggering and I could waste a stupid amount of money trying out the different options. The range is well controlled with safety officers that do a good job of staying attentive, but not being invasive. I would highly recommend SafeSide. P.S. They also offer many different classes on personal defense and firearm training, as well as the class required to obtain your concealed carry.

Staff are wearing masks, hand sanitizer and masks available for customers, social distancing floor placards, plexiglass dividers at registers. Range use is reservation only to eliminate overcrowding. We are following all of the best practices presented by VDH and CDC.

To browse is free. If you want the rent a firearm or two, there are charges. Yes, there are age restrictions, but it just boils down to commonsense. Some children are more mature and therefore can handle things better, kind of like adults.
If they don't have it in stock, they can order it.
