I had a good experience my first time but today was not it! How is possible that after insurance allowance I still have to pay $500 for a year of contact lenses? The doctor said I had enough allowance on my insurance for me to get the contacts and it end up been a lie. In top of that, now you have to make the request yourself if you want contacts like seriously ? I’ll never go back to this office as I felt that I didn’t matter. Also, please educate your receptionists of not making fun of the patients, at least not when they are there. I asked if I can use 2 insurances to take advantage and they said no. I turn my back and they started laughing saying they wish they could do that. Unbelievable and sad!

I’ve been going to Southwest Orlando Eye Care for years now and I’ve been happy so far because they’re very attentive and made sure everything went well. Dr. Nowell is my only physician, knowledgeable and very professional. He always took the time to sit down and explain, and very patient. Accommodating staff though some are kind of rude because the don’t want to be bother with so many questions but some of them are very nice, Miriam was awesome, she’s very nice and welcoming. As for schedule wise it’s very convenient because they’re open which I love, since I only have weekends off. I would definitely recommend.

The staff are friendly, and Dr. Nowell's knowledge and professionalism are top notch. He took the time to sit down and go over my concerns, and he answered my questions without judgment. You can tell he really cares about his patients. I am thoroughly impressed with Southwest Orlando Eye Care. Fantastic team and facility!

I've been going here for a few years and even though they had to give me the bad news that aging sucks and my eyes are getting worse and i now need glasses, they were very nice about it. They have a pretty good selection of frames and they worked with me when I didn't adjust well to progressive lenses. So do yourself a favor, eat healthy, moderate how much screen time you spend, and go to Southwest to keep an eye on your eyes. You might run into me there.
