Everything was lovely and clean. Nice cabin area including a "functions" room, rest area and additional seating. Snack bar was not open and I would have liked to see some additional picnic tables and perhaps some benches put in; but this is a wonderful spot all in all.

Very nice swimming area with grass and sand. Has some picnic tables and shade. Good little lake for small boats. A fun hike of moderate difficulty, good for kids 6+ Camping was nice, you could hear loons at night. Great for a quick trip from Montpelier.

Probably the worst campground I've been to. They advertise having a playgrounds on the website, Elmore has structure of what used to be swingsets, that is all. Fishing? Only if you have a boat or a kayak. There is no privacy for the lean to sites, if you rent one make sure you're OK with other people's kids running through your site. Would maybe be OK for a day trip for swimming but that's about it.

What a wonderful little park. Campgrounds are both secluded and open air. Some have thick green grass and others have gravel. The lean to sites were exceptionally nice and most would accommodate a small RV. No water or electric. Lake is pristine and offered amazing fall foliage views.
