The thing I like the most about this station is the convenience. Because it’s a small station, it’s so easy to find your way around it. Convenience pick up and drop off point right outside the station and there’s usually no traffic around here. The station decoration is a bit strange but I like it’s uniqueness. For example it has a barber chair in a glass box or has dining set on display. Doesn’t make sense but is cute

I am old enough to remember the OLD Union Station. This one is much much nicer and so very clean, they do a nice job and everyone is friendly here. Hopefully it will stay that way for a long time. I havn't taken a train for a very long time (plan to soon) but I like the NEW platforms they have constructed. Only one problem, they never finished the job! Please remove the rusty ancient unused canopies from the freight tracks and also the skeletal remains of the parcel express building, they DETRACT from all the nice work that was done here.

Lisa, to answer we'd need to know the dates of your travel and what carrier you want to use (Greyhound, Peter Pan or AMTRAK). You can contact AMTRAK at 413-285-7563. Greyhound at 413-238-6545 and Peter Pan at 800-343-9999. It's Sunday after 7 so you probably won't get live help until tomorrow after 8AM. Also there is a 3rd party website that may help: https://www.wanderu.com/en-us/bus/us-ma/springfield/us-oh/cleveland/ Good luck 👍

Hmmm, it's easy to get on a train, but they probably require ID to buy a ticket. I'm not sure but I think you have to take a bus from springfield to the actual train.
It's about half a mile walking and it could take an average of about 10 to 15 minutes to walk there.

There is a Parking Garage on Main St. It's part of Union Station.
Hertz, budget and enterprise is available.
I don't know. Its probably best you take the Peter Pan bus because to go to Boston from Springfield the train goes down to New Haven then back up through Province, RI.
