Great state park with hiking trails and camping.

Beautiful park! The lighter trails around the river are perfect for families. The hike up Thick Mountain is good for experienced hikers who like the challenge of steep incline 1000' up to the peak. Scenic historic dam walls were awesome. Will be back!

Definitely a remote park. It's fairly small, but very pretty and it offers a nice hike along Honey Creek. There are also camping and good fishing opportunities as well. A nice park for a family outing or picnic as it offers a decent sized playground.

Very remote location. 14 tent only campsites. Picnicking at tables or three pavilions. Fishing the Honey Creek. There's 3 miles of hiking around the park, or set out on an 18 mile hike over to Poe Paddy State Park on the Mid State Trail. Cross country skiing in winter and hunting in season.

Yes, their were people camping on Monday.
They have fire rings in the campground if your camping there and grills in the day use area for picnics
