Awesome set of museums on the same ground including Fine Arts, Natural History and Dr. Seuss. The Fine Arts museum features works of Canaletto, Jordaens, Corot, Pissarro and Renoir among others. You might also be interested in the work of a Hieronymus Bosch follower from XVI century and Dali's playing cards lithographs.

Great place to spend some time with family and friends. Excellent for kids. All museums are very interesting and kids friendly. My kids lives to came back here. They also have Cafe place to get some good sandwiches and salads. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Excellent place to take the family. Several different museums in one area to explore. I would say kids would enjoy the Dr Seuss museum most. It literally takes you into the world of Dr Seuss.

D'Amour Museum had a lot of traditional art. Great display of the art. Took me a couple hours studying the art.

If you have a Springfield id, it is free. Other than that, the prices vary. Check out their web site.
We'll, depends which one you want to hit, but because of their awesome design, all the museum s surround the parking lot in the center. So you kinda feel like you're driving into them. If it's cold, park as close as you can to the museum you want to visit. The Dr. Seuss house has its own parking right up front but very limited. Either way, your not looking at a big walk and if you're making a whole day of it, it won't matter! Enjoy!
Looks like it's free if you are a Springfield resident or if you're under 3. Ticket prices can be found here: https://springfieldmuseums.org/hours-and-admission/ You can also check your local library for a pass to the museum. Most have them and it allows free admission for up to four people.
I believe its one day
Yes it's open to the public
There's a lot right in front of the natural history museum. If that's full, there's always plenty of street parking.

You won't have any problems finding a restaurant you'll love around there. It's right downtown.
The exhibit is great! All of the museums there are! We are members of the ASTC so we pay a yearly membership and we get into many museums in the US and Canada for free. Its worth looking into especially if you have children.
