I have a my elderly mom who lives in Georgetown I just recently moved out from living with my mom. There is a bad mice problem going on everyone complains ,Georgetown refuse to fix the problem. My mom is 60+ years old and she’s been calling and her doctors send letters in to move her !. Gergetown never answers her calls or if they do they never return her calls !!! My mom is very sick and no one has been listening to her everyone else gets moved for no reason ! But they can’t move my mom who is sick, has a heart problem and asthma !!! And is elderly !! This is elderly abuse .. I am speaking out for my mom I am scared for her safety .. That’s the reason I moved out with my DAUGHTER ! Now 8/2022my mom is still going through the same thing! She was told her cabinets will be changed its now going on 3 months with all her stuff on the table . At this point I don’t know who to contact because all my emails to Nate are being Ignored!! I am getting sick of it and my moms health has gotten worse and Georgetown doesn’t seem to care about .they are still putting her through the same thing

My children and I have been here 15 years. The apartments are small for a family but the community is kept in good condition and its a very safe place for children to grow up.

It’s a set up to fail, I asked to be moved due to harassment, and they don’t care. I’m still allowed to be harassed and stalked. I asked for a copy of a report that I filed with there security about my harassers , they refused to give it to me. I feel like I would need something severe to happen to me and my children before Georgetowne takes action. Don’t move here.

I was blessed to be able to move in during a time of need. I agree with some of the reviews no matter how much you try to keep your apartment clean bugs show up. Walls are super thin I can barely get a good night rest. My neighbors are inconsiderate and are up all night. People around here are not that friendly but kids have made a lot of friends, school bus stops are in the complex and they do offer a lot of fun free activities for the community which is why I gave it a 4/5. If you really need a roof over your head you can make it work. You get what you pay for.

Hi Victoria. Thank you for your question. Our waitlist is currently 5 to 10 years long. If your application is up next on our waitlist, the approval process can take anywhere from 7 to 21 business days. It is harder to gauge this section of the process due to the required documentation. If you have any further questions about this process, please reach out to our management team at 617-364-3020. We hope this helped to answer your question.
I have been on the list for 5 years now and they say to call them on Thursdays to check on your application status and when I do all they tell me is that it takes between 5-10 years. I tell my daughters I will probably be dead by than. Lol! But it would be nice for them to write to us and say at least what number in the waiting list we are in.
You'd have to go to Georgetowne's leasing office, right on the property. Take the 40 bus from Forest Hills. They'll let you know everything you need to have and what your individual requirements will be.
Hi Sherice. Thank you for your question. Georgetowne Homes has a no pet policy; however, residents have the right to request a Reasonable Accommodation for approval of a companion animal. If you have questions about this process, a member of our management team would be happy to embellish upon the necessary steps. Our team can be reached at 617-364-3020 during regular business hours.
Thank you for reaching out, Jerry. We are confused by what you mean when you state, "asked to request for evidence." Our team would be more than happy to assist you over the phone and answer any additional questions you might have about our community. You can reach a representative at 617-364-3020.
Thank you for reahcing out, Marvina. Visitors may park park in lots #1 and #20. Parking is also permitted in the management parking lot from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am.
Hi Bernoeled. Thank you for your question. Georgetowne Homes does accept Section 8 vouchers. Currently, we do not have any apartment homes available as we are maintaining a 5 to 10-year waitlist. We encourage you to complete an application as there are no additional charges. Doing so will mark your first official step toward living at our community. Please reach out to a member of our leasing team if you are interested in filling out the required paperwork.
Hi Dragon. Thank you for your question. Georgetowne Homes is a community that consists of 100% affordable apartment homes. There are a variety of subsidies, including project-based section 8, mobile section 8 vouchers, and low-income housing tax credit. We accept anyone who qualifies, and we are proud of the community we call home. If you have additional questions about our apartment homes, please contact our leasing team at (617) 364-3020.
Hi Delores, thank you for your question. Our waitlist is updated as changes occur. Our waitlist can change based on several factors. Residents moving out can cause movement on the list. Additionally, the waitlist can change when existing waitlist members choose to be removed because they found an apartment home elsewhere. Also, the list can change as new members join it. We would be delighted to answer any other questions you may have if you'd like to connect with our office directly. We can be reached at 617-364-3020. Thank you!
Sure you can
