These people are horrible and cheat’s. They said the doctor I wanted to see was booked up in Boston and that she is in Waltham one day a week. They also said that I could get glasses there if needed. When I got to Waltham, I was told that this doctor is only in Boston. They further stated that we don’t do glasses here and never did. They then wanted all my medical cards to make copies of. Even when I told them that my cost was pre paid with Davis Vision, my eye insurance. The receptionist wanted me to pay them 50 dollars even though it was pre paid. They then proceeded to give my a shoddy eye exam. I later found out that they billed my medical insurance for hundreds of dollars as a medical appointment when it was just an eye exam. They also had the nerve to send me a bill for thirty more dollars for this sham. All that money and did not get what I went there for or needed. If you are smart never go to these people or give them you information. They should be investigated for their shoddy practices. Never never go to them and I guess that’s how the owners make there money for their fancy stuff

Just received a bill 3 months after my appointment showing that my account is past due. They also don’t take vision insurance which is absolutely ridiculous considering you are being seen to check on your vision. Now I have to pay $400 out of pocket for a standard eye exam. Never again will I go to Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston.

Horrible! You'll go blind before they answer the phone. Like many high-earners who run businesses, they will not hire staff to take care of the customers. It's bad enough they make returning patients wait as long as they do, but they harass you with advertisements the entire time you are on hold - which could be 15 minutes.

They check your eyes like a factory. Tried to get a copy of my eyeglass prescription six months later and they wouldn't give it to me. They said it was in my patient portal. It isn't. There is only a prescription from 3 years ago! They won't email or US mail it to me. I definitely would avoid this place. It's close by so I go, but I'm not thrilled with the service. Also, don't try to call - after a big long spiel on the phone, you have to sit and wait and wait and wait and wait.

Yes but ... sometimes early in the morning mostly, a sign could be advising that the parking lot is full. When I go closer to 10:30 or 1:00 AM I have not run into this issue. Be advised that this garage does NOT accept cash. Credit cards only. OCB does valatate a small portion so bring your ticket with you when you go up for your visit. A small vehicle would be better in the garage, the parking spaces are very tight....Good luck...
