I came to this place broken and with no other options left. MAT was something I was always warned would be worse then my addiction. But I’ve never been better, it took a little while at first to find the counselor I truly trusted and was willing to open up to but once I did, life’s been great, yes I get curve balls and life’s ups and downs. But I don’t think about going back out and using when that happens. I use the tools I’ve learned over the years and with the MAT my body isn’t in constant pain or withdrawal so that gave me the time I needed to get acclimated into everyday life as a normal productive person. Now I’m tapering out and have lots of hope for my future. If it wasn’t for this place my sons wouldn’t have a father, my mom wouldn’t have a son and my siblings would be without a brother, I know I’d be in jail or dead by now. So thanks everyone at Discovery house. Especially you Mariah.

Great place! Really helped me with my recovery, most really do whatever they can to help. Definitely recommend.

Discovery House changed my life and I’m finally living clean the way I want and have a job so I’m blessed to have it. Most the counselors care a lot but all the nurses and doctors treat u like a addict. The manager is the worse part and she doesn’t know anything that’s going on but is always loud yelling or threatening to ‘snatch takehomes” instead of seeing her patients but if u avoid her your okay. You should still go get help if u need it!

The nurses are absolutely horrible at this location. There is one good nurse. Most of the staff is great. My counselor Beth is AMAZING. There’s things I love about this treatment center but then there’s those few staff that ruin it for everyone else. The management needs to be updated here. I only gave one star just because some of the staff actually care where some of the nurses talk to you like you are trash.
