We traveled with 28 family and friends to celebrate the memory of our Nephew and the birthday of another Nephew. We got three cottages near the beach and a few other rooms in the high rise. So convenient to walk to restaurants and shopping during the day. Enjoy the beach with the kids and BBQ in the courtyard in the evening to share meals together. Enjoyed our time very much.

We stayed 3 weeknights in the 2 queen studio in their north building. The room was spacious and clean. Staff was excellent and I really appreciated the customer service offered through text message during our stay. If I were to stay again I'd get a room type that allows me to stay in their main building or cottages. The north building location was surrounded by bars and didn't feel as family friendly as we'd hoped, but it wasn't too bad. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend here for his birthday and it couldn’t have been a better stay. We’ll definitely be making this “our spot” when we need getaway! Staff is so fast and friendly, the communication was 5 stars also. if you’re looking for a clean, chill, inexpensive place to stay in PB i would definitely make this a option! So close to the grocery store & all the best restaurants + right off the beach, we even saw the ocean laying down from our bed! 100% will be coming back! Thank you so much for the memories, can’t wait to make more traditions here!

We checked in and went right to our room. Nice size sweet with tiny kitchen, desk, and patio with view of the beach. There is NO A/C at this hotel, but they say so right in the room description so we opened the door to the patio and the breeze cooled the room perfectly. Plus- we found 2 fans in the closet just in case. A perfect little beach getaway.

Hi David, The hotel is currently remodeling the parking lot to include access control for the entrance and exit of the parking lot. This feature is not currently operational but efforts are being made to acquire gates for the entrance and exit. I hope this information is helpful and please let us know if you have any further questions about the facility. Kind Regards, The Beach Cottages Staff

Please check their website for call them they will be happy to mail you a complete welcome kit this place is amazing and wonderful if you're a family I seriously recommend if at any season you are more than four, get a cabin seriously worth the pennies extra, you can cook a breakfast in your own little kitchen for the outside grill saving you the difference in money and you can punch right out the door onto the beach

Is there timeshare at beach cottages

David Keller | Jan 29, 2019
Mark Robinson | Jan 30, 2019

No time share but many people will book different blocks of time over a year and a year or two out. Make reervations early and if any major concerns ask for Aaron Frost.

When is the "quietest" time to come to San Diego? I loved our Beach Cottage stays in mid 70's, late 70's and mid 80's. Want to try again, but now old and cranky.

Stay away from the east and west cabins. The bars are pretty noisy (especially weekends obviously) the cabins in the center court are pretty quiet.
