Stopped in with a huge cardboard box of coins, with no advance notice. The shop was extremely busy, but we were greeted immediately and asked if we could wait for a moment while they helped other customers. Very knowledgeable and thorough. Went through the entire collection on the spot. Answered all our questions, explained what was worth something and what was worthless. Gave us a very fair price. Highly recommended!

First time at Great Lakes Coins today. Had a great experience. When we travel we always try to stop at as many local coin shops as we can. Today the selection here was wonderful. Lots of silvet, gold and platinum to choose from. We were able to pick up many great pieces of silver that we have not been able to find at other shops we visit. Staff were friendly and even pulled some inventory from the back to help us find more items for our collections. Prices were fair and honest. My kids loved the pet bulldog that was friendly and loved to be pet!. Cant wait until next time we are in town to see what they have new to buy!

Great place, nice people. Had a small collection of coins i just wanted to get an idea of what I had, if anything. No appointment needed, just walked in. Would recommend for their knowledge, but would sell coins privately they won't pay you retail, they want to make money also.

Great Lakes Coins was recommended to us by a local antique dealer. He said that Lee was trustworthy and fair...so eventually we stopped by with three bags of inherited coins. We left them for a few hours and on our return we had a prompt appraisal and offer. It was so much more satisfactory than a pawn shop or any of the other options we have investigated Lee was pleasant and knowledgeable. A very positive experience. .

I've seen all different gold coins there from different centuries. Go check them out over there I can't say enough good things about the owner, his wife and the staff👍😊
They buy coins, jewelry, silver spoons the whole deal.
They are open there normal business hours and you can drop by anytime. I have stopped by several times in the last couple of weeks.
Poly sneeze sheild all around the check out. Everyone required to wear a mask. Same as most stores.
If its a newer gold dollar ots probably on the side(rim) of the coin.
They usually don't buy stamps. But I do
Yes they do.
I'm not an employee, but they buy most any coin but those copper pennies aren't worth much and I'm not sure how much they would buy. Plz call them, good luck
Yea, tell the internet who you are and that you have $180000 plus in gold. Smart.
Some are valuable and some are not, the older the better and condition/mintage will determine value
Mike, I don't work for glc, we give reviews for local businesses, u have more than 200k in gold, call them
