As a disabled veteran. Leeds VA been in my life for forty plus years. I've seen good and bad through the years. But that's all I got for my health care also Medicare Part A. The veterans combat and non combat all have problems mental and physical. And homeless. This VA covers alot for a small VA. They offer VA shuttle transportation services also. Four stars because of parking issues. πΊπΈπ₯πβ€οΈβπ©Ή

I cannot give an opinion on the rest of the hospital but I can say that my experience with the Audiology and Optical Departments were second to none. Every appointment that I had I was seen at exactly the time that the visit was set up. The staff was friendly and very professional.

I've been using the VA in Leeds and Springfield, MA for a year now and I have nothing but good things to say. Now that I am retired I started using the VA for prescriptions. Saved a lot of money! Great service! Great doctors and staff. Never have to wait. Scheduling appointments is quick and easy. Following up on tests and labs is easy to do on the myhealthevet web site. I will admit that I was a bit surprised what with all the negative noise about the VA. But they've been good to me and for me. Thank you VA Northampton and Springfield!!

If he is a resident there, you can contact the social worker to see if there is transportation available. Most of the time it will be volunteers. Most of the regular transportation is reserved for medical appointments. Any questions you can contact me @413-582-3044, m-f 8 to 4. This sounds familiar.
