From the moment I arrived at the security check, to checking in at the front, till the moment I left. I was treated with respect, care and very professional. It was my first time ever visiting winter haven hospital. I felt happy I choose to go there, my son was treated at the ED. The nurses and doctor were all awesome and I admire how they all worked together as a team to take care of my son's health. I will definitely come back to this hospital to get treated if I ever need it again. Please continue to treat everyone with the same respect and care that my son and I received.

Nurses and patient techs were great. In fact all staff were friendly, respectful and helpful. I especially want to send out extra kudos to Sasha, my patient care tech. She always went above and beyond, seeing to my needs. Dietary could use a little upgrading. Otherwise I have absolutely no complaints

Arrived at the ER about 6:30pm. Triage occurred in a very timely manner, with history captured, EKG taken, and blood taken quickly and professionally. Told to sit in the waiting room until a room was ready for me. At approximately 2:00am the next morning, I was taken to Room 16 where I was examined by an RN and doctor, rectal test administered, and told I would be admitted to the hospital overnight when a room was ready. At about 4:00am, I was transferred to a room on the 2nd floor. No communication occurred with a doctor, but at 8:00am a wheelchair arrived and I was told I was being taken for a test. When I asked what kind of test, I was told a CT scan. The CT technician was very thorough and explained everything in detail. Once I got to my room, the nurses assigned to me explained the process, the information folder, and were very diligent to follow it all throughout my stay. I want to especially recognize Michelle and Alicia for their attention to detail, friendliness, and for explaining things each step of the way. So I had 2 separate experiences in one 24 hour period. The ER experience was horrible, no communication during the 7.5 hours I sat in the waiting room, but once I made it to an Examination Room, everything was much smoother.

The doctor and nurses in the Infusion Center are amazing. They are always courteous and are great with my father as their patient. They always answer any questions or concerns we have. I appreciate them for their care and consideration as my father takes the necessary steps to heal. Megan, Nancy, Troy, Angela, Emily, Jenny, Liz, and Karen are the best. Winter Haven hospital is fortunate to have them and I hope they are recognized for all that they do. You are all appreciated.

Only 1 visitor per patient at a time, although it could be different people. That was as of May 13th. I can't speak for the emergency department. My dad was a direct admit.
Visiting hours are from 1pm to 8pm.
That's strange, they were all very pleasant to me. The signs should be decently easy to follow, we had no problems getting around when I was there. I agree with Michael though, ask at the security desk, they should be able to give you directions.
Baycare.com
Something on Cypress gardens blvd
You may be able to get flowers in the gift shop in the hospital.
Free. No charge, even for valet parking.
Sir you dont want to use this hospital. Not only is it a waste of time because they misdiagnose everyone they treat everyone like utter garbage. My adoptive mother went about a week ago was in there for 11 hours because they forgot about her and she was supposed to be admitted for chest pains. They almost killed my step father by misdiagnosing him with gas when he had 2 bleeding ulcers the size of dinner plates.
Yes, the sercet is to use any hospital other than a baycare one.
