I lost my husband on May 28th, 2022, at that time I decided to go with Oakridge Funeral Home because they were the only one that said to me, “go spend time with your husband before he passes, we can take care of everything else after!” It showed me the care they felt during this time. Then we met Nicole, what can I say about her! She was amazing, caring and considerate. Never met such incredibly caring person such as her. Thank you for making this painful transition less hurtful.

First time having to deal with a loved ones passing, Oak Ridge made it very easy and smooth. We didn't feel any pressure to buy outside of our budget. The day of they exceeded our expectations. Everything was exactly as planned. Hopefully not, but if needed we will use them again. Thank you again.

Posting on behalf of my grandmother and our family: To whom it may concern, This was our experience with Oak Ridge Funeral Home. My son passed away on July 21st. We had him sent to Oak Ridge. We met with Nicole , she wrote down what we wanted. At that time we put our trust in her to get everything right. I noticed one mistake, which she corrected and said “I do make a mistake sometimes”. Well, she made quite a FEW mistakes. Even after the okay from her boss, they put the wrong picture on his memory card. They had the wrong date on his marker, and had to redo it. They didn’t mention PallBearers to us , but my other son called the morning of the viewing and he was told that we didn’t need any. However, at the funeral they didn’t have any and this resulted in them almost dropping his casket. All that was said about it was “ I don’t know who told him that”. They didn’t have his memory book out for anyone to sign, they didn’t have his memory cards out for anyone to get. They didn’t have the right amount of death certificates and had to re-order them. When I went to pick up the death certificates, I walked into the office and no one even turned around to face me. One lady handed me the death certificates and a stack of the corrected memory cards. I told them that these mean nothing now that the funeral is over. Losing my son was one of the worst things, I’ll ever have to do and when you plan their funeral, which is the last thing you can do for them, you want everything to be perfect. What I’ll remember is every mistake that was made. I feel like my son was disrespected. He deserved so much much more than what he got. He was a very special person and he meant the world to us. Nicole’s only excuse was that she was not there over the weekend when it was her place to make sure that everything was done right. The only reason they are getting one star is because we have to leave at least one star to leave the review. Otherwise, it would be zero stars.
