I moved down to Florida awhile back and have been church shopping ever since. I went to St. James Episcopal Church in Leasburg, Florida, today in my quest for a new church home in the area. The service was business as usual for a traditional Episcopal church. No surprises there. What was most striking was the peaceful atmosphere and the kind and welcoming minister and parishioners. They seemed genuinely interested in me as a visitor. Also, there are beautiful church grounds that are maintained by their professional gardener. Very impressive. The grounds include a butterfly garden! I'll be back!
