Nice small airport but services could be better. Everything is expensive though, well everything in Alaska is expensive anyways.

It is a small airplane airport folks who want sidewalks deiced are not gonna get that wish. Our fancy airport is large enough to land very large jets safely. Yes so you thought you saw a 737 Boeing jet...you did see one. To bring it to Merrill Field permits had to happen...people who fly planes and helicopters needed advance warning and they were not thw only people got to see this beautiful old style Boeing 737 be brought in very precisely and carefully for use by the University of Alaska (UAA) Aviation program. Lines for tickets? Are you at Merrill or our larger airport?

My husband got ripped off by the manager for his ticket and was told to come back with half the money for the ticket and waited around days and still never received any ticket from this airport. MANAGERS AND TICKET TAKERS IN ALASKA WILL RIP U OFF.
