I had a great experience here! The front desk staff was more than welcoming and helpful. That’s especially helpful because I was in a great amount of pain. Both nurse and practitioner were very knowledgeable and willing to help. I felt like I was listened to which is hard to come by in the medical field, in the villages, as a younger person. THANKS GUYS!

I went to this Urgent Care yesterday and was met with 1/3 of the healthcare workers not wearing masks as well as the patients. When I was escorted to a room no larger than a closet to be examined, the male nurse wasn't wearing a mask so I said to him that " I'm not comfortable going into that room without you wearing a mask" which he replied, "Oh, you're one of THEM" and then scoffed and said that he was "following CDC guidelines" which in fact, he certainly was not. He put on his mask but not over his nose then continued on with political propeganda about why he doesn't need to wear one. I finally had to tell him that "I'm here to recieve care, not talk about politics." I would have left then but I was in a lot of pain from burning my hand. The head nurse that treated me was fine but his nurse's aid was also rude telling me, "You can use a hammer to knock yourself out" when discussing how to sleep with this pain. What?!! Today, I called the mgr. which also replied to me with right-wing propeganda and so I asked to have the owner call me. The owner, Dr. Dominick rambled on about his accolades and told me that I had to start at the beginning about masks. Really? He listened for a few seconds when I asked, "Why should I go into a small confined room wearing my mask to protect the nurse practioner when he won't do the same for me?" which he yelled that there's no data to confirm that not wearing masks makes anyone sick. Really?!! He wouldn't let me talk just YELLED right-wing lies at me and over me telling me that I have to "stay quiet" which I took for about 20 secs. and completely fed up with his ridiculous ego, I said that since he's "not listening to me and just yelling political lies so I'll just post my review" and I hung up. So I'm posting this terrible experience here on the reviews to warn all that IMO, they don't have your best interest at heart and that's not quality care. I'm sure that they would argue that point and loudly, dismissing what the experts say, what the CDC says, what me as a patient says, but I was there for care, not to argue politics and wearing a mask is caring about others and does reduce the chances of infecting others, which is a fact. 2 hrs. after I spoke with Dr. Dom, he really went over the edge and over the line by texting me on my cell phone to get his anger out some more and to defend how smart he thinks he is. This experience reminds me of going to get care but instead I wound up at an angry Trump rally. The whole thing was pretty much a nightmare. Needless to say, I won't be going back there again.

OK, these are first impressions of this place. Apparently the employee smoking area is very near the front entrance. Lots of cigarette butts of the same brand. One of the outside windows has a sign with hours listed, unfortunately it is not readable beyond a couple feet, very faded and obscured by vegetation. The lobby is small, cold and overcrowded with a row of chairs blocking one of the double front entrance doors. The facility is very unclean, and the wait is long. This is definitely a place requiring patience by patients.

I will not use any other Urgent Care facility. Dr. Dominick is the BOMB! He has other doctors as well and I have always received great care. The nurses are wonderful and very caring. The front desk could use a lot of work for being more courteous and friendly, but it wouldn't stop me from going back because the doctors and nurse definitely make up for their shortcomings. Our nurse was Laurie, and she is wonderful at her job. She is exactly what you would expect in the healthcare field....wished there were more of her. The last thing someone wants when they feel horrible or hurt is rude staff members. If you are one of those people and you know who you are.....If you don't like to work with people and being caring, respectful, and courteous, then find a job that best suits your personality like a collection agency, prison guard or driving a bull dozer. Oh...did I say Dr. D and nurse Laurie....ROCK!!!!
