To me one of the best tasting burgers with a great value and good presentation. 2 Double Steak Burgers no chesse $7.00, you cannot beat that. The only thing is that the wait is a bit long but the burgers were great.

To be fair, They say they were training a new employee. They got my order wrong and forgot to put some fries in our bag as well. I went inside to have them correct my burger and they did happily. They threw the other one away and that's what bothered me most. They could have let me keep the other one as well or set it aside for the homeless people in the area. Especially if your just going to throw it in he trash. Otherwise the food tasted good, the store was clean and the employees were nice as well as helpful.

In the past year, this location has given horrible service. Today, I was hungry & had 20 minutes free. I pulled into drive thru & ordered a cheeseburger & small fries. No one was in drive thru line ahead of me. 20 minutes later, I get my order. Pulled into one of their parking spaces to eat. Grabbed the fries first. Limp & ice cold! Went in immediately. Waited by the drink dispenser, where a girl was standing. She didn’t even acknowledge me. I then asked her if I could speak with the mgr. She pointed to a man cooking burgers. I called to him, he turned to me angrily & pointed to his headphones & then pointed to the girl to help me. I told him my fries are cold. He wasn’t even pleasant. Never going again!!!!

I hate having to give this place even one star! The words customer service might as well be in Russian to them because they clearly have NO IDEA what those words mean! I went here last week and waited 8 minutes before they even said anything on the speaker. “Welcome to Steak N’ Shake what do you want “? Said the disgruntled night worker. I tried to order a shake, but somehow a place with the word shake in their name didn’t have a shake machine that works. And then proceeded to order a Frisco melt and chicken fingers and french fries. When I got to the window to pay they were quick to take my card but not so quick to bring me my food. I sat there for another 12 minutes while I watched them close up the restaurant instead of focusing on the customer. This was made painfully obvious when I received mine what some might call food I guess. I ordered the Frisco Melt and received a soggy grilled cheese with a burger patty that was obviously smashed by the hulk and slapped In the middle of two oversized pieces of what they try to call toasted bread. Then they cannot be bothered to cut the sandwich in half. Restaurants like this and employees like these are the reasons nobody takes it serious when fast food workers say they deserve more money.
