Hands down the best customer service you could ever ask for at the DMV. I emailed to inquire renewing my registration while out of state, and the agent who responded handled everything for me within a week (paperwork required, renewing registration, and accepting payment). Truly grateful that this Seminole County Tax Collector's office takes care of their constituents - no matter where we may be!

I'm constantly hearing that the number of teenagers obtaining driver licenses is constantly in decline! After 3 attempts of trying to book an appointment online, 2 attempts at calling and speaking to a representative, and finally after a 2 hour wait in their office during a pandemic... I finally see why a driver license is not worth it! Horrible system!!! Seminole County should be ashamed of themselves putting their citizens at risk by not implementing a proper appointment system to avoid herds of people!!!!!!

I was giving a online service scheduled for February 15. 2021, at 11:00 a.m. I pay share ride to reach this scheduled location and then to find out closed for President day, why would you knowly scheduled an appointment on a holiday. I am force to reschedule for next appointment for future appointments

It's unbelievable to say but I had a great experience as I got my license renewed here. It was ways far from me but wow.... 5 stars for a DMV?! You heard that right. I made an appointment using OASIS for 8:45 AM and found myself entering the building at 8:35 AM on the day of. As I walked in a lovely receptionist said "Good Morning" and I told her the reason why and that I had an appointment. She quickly gave me a number slip and I sat. It might have taken less than 1 minute and my number was called. The person processing everything was fast, efficient, and friendly. Most of the time the slow downs are by the customers... Just a tip (which should be common sense) is to have all your documents prepared and ready to go while you're sitting down BEFORE you even get to the counter so no precious time is waiting for people to dig into their bags or pocket or worst, going back to their car to get a paper. I had my picture taken and got my license and out the door by 8:45 AM. TEN WHOLE MINUTES. The best experience of getting a license renewed ever. (Granted, it was a Tuesday) The location seems new but not sure how long they have been there. It was spacious and have TV to watch while you wait. Another tip is to definitely make an appointment before going if you can. If you have to come in person to renew, this could be your place!

Yes you both have to be there or a signed affidavit stating you can sign for him. I do believe both your names have to be on as purchasers and/or co purchaser.
I do not think they take appointments its first come first serve basis.
If you do not have the star...your current or recently expired passport or birth certificate, social security card/ know your number, a couple of bills that have your name and address ( I took a bank statement, utilities, and power) and I think that was it. You have to be there before a certain time because they stop doing licence renewal check with your place to find out their time. They also have a paper that tells you everything you need...I feel like there was one more thing but I cant remember. I would call first thing on Monday morning to make sure you are there in time and going to have everything you need.
