The museum is small but really cool and informative. Every one of the staff were extra friendly. It's not fancy or well manicured but worth a quick trip. The kids can dig through rocks to find fossils and shark teeth. They have bathrooms and nice cold water available.

Wonderful, free museum in Mulberry. Small, but great local history. Old train car. Two galleries and a big local fossil display. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms outside by parking.

A nice little side visit with some really cool displays and a rock pile you can find shark teeth and fossils in. It won't take you long to go through all there is to see but if you're in the area and looking for something free to do it's a good place to make a pit stop.

I promise this museum will not be what you're expecting. Well curated displays, friendly staff, well preserved specimens; The Phosphate Museum is a quality visit. There are three rooms (some made from Boxcars!) and a tour of a Caboose. Thr massive case full of fossils and casts was impressively designed and not expected from what we thought might have been just a tiny museum. From the donors page and the case of items on loan this place has a lot ofnlove and it is easy to see why.
