This company do not see al these reviews. Why are you guys scamming all these people? I definitely tired of this company. When it’s rainy there is no electric in my apartment. I work from home and always When it’s rainy I have to take my laptop and go outside and find wifi to continue my job. Last 40 days i did not have electric at least 15 times. This is so ridiculous. At night when there is no electric i am sitting at home with candles. Like it’s Roman Empire times. This is 2022 and we live in USA. And Tampa is one of the coolest city in USA. How is it possible you guys can not fix this issue. Or there is something that it is really expensive and you guys do not want to buy and fix. All i can just say SHAME ON YOU TECO. The worst company ever. I would give less than 1 star if it was available.

TECO has an unfair monopoly of the utility market in the Tampa Bay area. Customer service is terrible if even existent. I also reside in Texas where its a free market and you have a choice of a variety of utility companies that compete to earn your business. As a result of this concept there is better customer service and lower prices across all the available companies. The terrible service TECO provides is acute after experiencing how its done in Texas.

3 power outages in 2 weeks because it mildly rained. Tampa's hockey team is literally named after its thunderstorms and a little rain caused a half-day power outage. This time it took them 2 and a half hours to show up and then suddenly 5 minutes later the power is back on. And I pay as much for my electric bill in a one-bedroom apartment as I did for an entire house up north. Absolutely ridiculous, I don't know how Tampa continues to re-sign their contracts.

I've had TECO for just over 2 months and I'm not exaggerating when I say my power has gone out at least 10 times. Most of those times were in broad daylight with zero weather-related issues. Incredibly unreliable. And I love how there are so many outages yet they make you pay full price every month despite multiple days where I had no electricity for 3+ hours.
