We stayed 4 nights at Woodville B&B. Stefan and Desiree are absolutely wonderful hosts-very attentive and personable. The rooms are super clean, very comfortable and cozy. The views of the vineyard are gorgeous-the breakfast every morning was fresh and served in the beautiful dining room. We could not have asked for a better stay.

The reviews are true!! The pictures do not do it justice. No disappointments here. Not sure what’s not to like? Nestled outside of Charlottesville, nice historic home, farm to table breakfast prepared by a horticulturist chef with 2 lovable dogs willow and woody to share it with. Come and go as you please and enjoy the property, all 22 acres. Thank you Desiree & Stefan hosting us. We’ll be back.

My wife and I stayed at Woodville B&B this past weekend and we had a great experience. We were greeted by Stefan and in the conversation we find out he used to live 20 minutes from our house….small world. The house and grounds are beautiful! We stayed in the boxwood room so we had the 3rd floor to ourselves. Can’t say enough about breakfast……everything was incredible….from Stefans breakfast menu to Desiree’s homemade bread. Stefan and Desiree definitely set the bar high for a B&B. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely make sure we reserve a room at Woodville.

Woodville Bed and Breakfast is a treasure. This was our first time staying at the inn, and we loved everything about it. Our room was beautiful, clean, comfortable and very spacious. The pool was spectacular, as were all the grounds. We enjoyed sitting on the expansive front porch each night to watch the sun set, exploring the property, and visiting the chickens, ducks and rescue pigs. The owners are wonderfully kind and generous and extremely knowledgeable about the area and its history as well as all the local wineries. And breakfast each morning was out of this world. We never wanted to leave and look forward to being back many times in the future. Our enormous thanks go to the inn's owners for their hospitality!

Wisdom Oak is certainly one of our favorites, though you do need a reservation. For views and wide open space, I'd check out Mt. Ida. Thatch has some nice wine, plenty of seating, and great staff.
