Beautiful historic B&B in conjoined row houses. We picked Carlisle off a map as a midway point on our drive and so glad we did!! What a hidden gem of a town. The B&B is in a great location right in the center of town. Carolyn was a wonderful host, and the breakfast was delicious. Her team is very friendly as well. Our room was immaculate and very homey. I loved the architectural moments throughout the building. Such a charming place and very reasonably priced. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband & I came to Carlisle for The Chrysler Nationals and decided to stay at a B&B instead of a motel. I am very glad we did. The accommodations at The Carlisle House were very nice. The room was clean, the staff was nice and the bed was comfortable! The location was perfect for walking around and visiting nearby bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend a stay here and would stay here again.

Simply fantastic! A gem of a B&B. We stayed in the English Library - the largest tub I’ve ever seen! From the moment we arrived until our departure we truly felt at home. Our breakfast was delicious! I cannot begin to describe the flavors, it was just that good. We had a lovely conversation with our host after we finished eating. Her love for the B&B and Carlisle is evident. We will definitely be going back and would highly recommend.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Carlisle House. Carolyn, Paul and Chloe were friendly and welcoming. We were in the Ewing room and it was clean and comfortable. I loved that they also provided complimentary bottled water and soda. The lotions and soaps they carry are also to die for. The icing on the cake, however, was literally the smoked salmon in the quiche they presented for breakfast, along with fresh banana bread and the most delicious watermelon I've ever tasted. It was right in the heart of their downtown and close to EVERYTHING! If you're heading to the Carlisle area, be sure to give them a chance to treat you like royalty.
