We visited Fort Desto Park it was beautiful easy access to the beaches serval parks and boat ramps, fishing lots to do! Beautiful greenery we got a chance to take some beautiful photos. The Fort itself was I interesting not much to it to really see but the view from the top of the Fort is amazing!! You do have to put to enter the park before 5pm at the gate. But the park is open until dark fall bring bug repellent the mosquitoes and bugs are horrible but hey it’s Florida! Enjoy

Very easy to get your boat in and out at this ramp. Plenty of jetski, fishing, pleasure, and pontoon boats launch from here. Parking is 5 or 6 dollars. Pay with card at meter. Bathrooms and trash available. This is also where Egmont key ferry launches from. I'd recommend getting there by 930/10 or you will be parking in the grass.

It serves the purpose, but is not kept up very well considering you have to pay to park. The area is beautiful though!

Lots of Boat ramps and big paring lot. Ferry to Shell Island and Egmont Key, Hubbarts, very nice and informativ crue.

It's a dollar for the toll and five dollars to get into the park and I believe there's no parking fee when you get in there

There is a public ramp that you can launch a jet ski at that costs $6.00 to park at. Stay in the channel or pick up a map so you do not run around and suck up sea grass into your intake. Lots of people run out to shell key and Egmont key with their jet skis.
Hey you can but in the boat ramp you just need to paid a parking permit and you can stay for 24 hours but in the boat ramp, i never see a 🚻 about that a can't tell you

There is a small boat that takes people from the boat ramps out to Egmont n shell key..believe its about 15.00 bucks a head..and leaves the ramp about 10ish..
Go straight out to the big flag pole. Make a right. The beach is about 1/4 mile on your left. A fishing pier is near and There is a kayak rental on the right side of the road. A land mark for you.
Yes.. there is a dedicated dog beach area. Even had doggie poo bags readily available. Nice place, friendly patrons.
Not sure on length but it has a decent slope to it. I have seen some large vessels launch from there with no problems.

There's a dog park in Fort Desoto but not at the boat ramp. They're two separate things
You could launch here, but you'd be better at the east beach or the beach on the side of the road just after the toll booth.
