Stop and Shop is better than in the past. Still more expensive than other supermarkets in the area. 2 of the 5 items advertised were not available. I had to go to another store and it turned out cheaper.

Very clean store, however some departments are under staffed. I prefer doing my own checkout because I rather bag my own carefully. Some of the cashiers that work at self help should be more considerate of the elderly. There have been times that an older cashier used swear words at the customer and it was uncalled for. Now that covid is hopefully going away the shelves are getting fully stocked. Of course prices are much higher then their rivals.

I liked the store and just need to learn the layout. The deli department was slow and what I wanted was not available presliced so I eventually just the deli. They have good prices and better than driving all over to save money using gas and time so its good for me. They do have a large frozen food selection in the middle on the end and in between the isle. I don't have a cat but noticed cat food was empty so 🤷 I dunno but they are not alone, I've been hearing about it. Weird shortage for everyone? I was not able to find the bread anyplace except the bakery but plain old Wonder Bread, Pitta's Wraps, nope. I don't need it I was just getting familiar. Parking was very easy, plenty or carts and sanitizer wipes when you enter. Lines were a bit long and slow but we are in a pandemic, people are out sick and these people are working so can't complain. The butcher department was ok however I did not notice or see a seafood department except frozen. Again did not need but wondering if they have a fish section. I saw the bakery, the pharmacy, butcher and small understaffed and understocked deli. FYI I really left the deli because I asked about sliced Genoa "D" Salami and the young lady setting up the sliced deli meats said they don't cut that in advance and I have to get it at the deli if they have it. I tried to look but did not see any so I left. Only one coiled had deli food the other said more coming soon. Maybe it's in the back? I was not that interested just for that. I really had no problem with anything else and maybe it was a fluke. I will be back. Oh yes produce is when you walk in, it's smaller than others but the selection was nice and fresh looking. The staff was friendly considering they deal with people all day on there feet etc. I appreciate them but that's CS in general it takes special people. The 1 star lost was the deli selection. Actually alot of stuff I usually get at any deli was not out or to be seen so out of sight out of mind. Even if in a back cooler what people see is what people order by impulse. Also did not see any TV boards with prices, chalk boards with prices or a menu board with prices so basically you are flying blind by looking into 1 deli cooler holding whatever. I'm not Kosher or Halal nope nope nope but usually they are separate. I would be happy to offer advice as I do have a particular expertise in the area of layouts, displays, impulse, marketing, traffic flow, facing off goods etc. Just need to ask. In all, I like the store and it's nice and close for me. Hopefully I get some answers or inquiries regarding my consumer observation. I'm here to help 😁💯.
