I was hesitant to go to this office because of all the negative reviews but was glad I went here. I recently moved to the area and needed some shots converted to the FL form to enroll my child in school. I arrived right after they first opened and left within an hour with the needed forms. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

I had a visit today to the Clearwater Health Dept Women's Clinic and I was treated with the most care and kindness I have ever experienced. While I don't know some of the names of the people I interacted with, I can tell you that my nurse, Cindy Lee, was the sweetest nurse... And Debra Higgins who made sure to escort me and have me taken care of... my intake personnel woman was wonderful as well, but I didn't catch her name. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

A sign on the door asked for a phone call prior to entering, but an efficient and friendly woman behind a table, beyond the door, waved us in. We answered all CoVid questions correctly, and our temperatures were normal (handheld to forehead thermometer). She wore gloves and a mask. She highlighted our names for our 1:30 appointment for the 2nd Hepatitis A shot. Our first was in September at the Tarpon Springs location, which is closed indefinitely. This one is open, large, clean, and all CDC guidelines are being followed for a safe, well visit. Chairs are 6 feet apart, and only one was empty. So Husband and I shared that one until another waiting room opened up with 5 empty chairs. It was a very nice area, like the lobby: clean, with a TV, and chairs spaced out for social distancing. There was no free Wi-fi, but we had good cellular service with Verizon. Our appointment was at 1:30. At 2:15, Marilena brought us into her office. She gave us our immunization records. Then she gave us our shots. She was skillful, friendly, and fast. Going in, it did not hurt. Afterwards it hurt! Then we were done. I would gladly give 5 stars if we had not waited 45 minutes to be seen.

Not sure why the ratings are terribly low. I had a reasonable time getting my birth control when they opened first thing in the morning. Maybe if you arrived first thing in the morning then they wouldn’t have been so busy and short staffed. Dr. Martin and Dr. Hancock were friendly and attentive addressing my concerns. Dr. Martin even talked to me on the phone about rescheduling my appointment when I had prior arrangements. What doctor actually gets on the phone and looks at their appointment planner? They were able to get the device in unlike other places I’ve been too. I got the advice I needed and am pleased with my visit. Thank you for all that you do because I would have paid an arm and a leg for my services.

You have to know someone on the inside so you can get in early or within a few seconds after the announcement text comes thru. Or maybe be a rich person from another state. The website is useless. Lowest bidder got the job.
