Atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxed. Our server Andrea rocked it! Appetizers were amazing! The blackeRed Snapper was superb! But the lobster linguine......not so much. Pasta was dry, but overall it was a great evening. We will definitely go back.

Such a treat of goodness! Start with the excellent drink choices that are oh so tasty. Next follow it up with the ever expansive menu of appetizers. We had the joy of having the seafood boat and we were delighted with the taste and amount. A bit on the pricey side but great experience. The service was on top of there game. A table next to us had an issue with their order and the wait staff along with management did a great job controlling the situation and making it right. I will definitely visit again.

Man! This place is incredible. Best oysters in Florida. AJ, our server, was INCREDIBLE! I've managed restaurants for years and his attentiveness, and attentiveness with a smile attitude was incredible. Truly a wonderful experience thanks to A. J. and the wonderful food. Ambiance was incredible. Thank you for making the experience WONDERFUL for my future wife and I!

This was an early Mother's Day outing (we don't like to go out on The Day, too crowded) so we took my Mother In Law here so she could get her fried smelts (it's the only place we can find that serves this). My hubby and I shared the seafood stuffed oysters. Then we all shared this fried seafood boat which had grouper, a couple of shrimp, calamari, clam strips, lobster tails on a bed of french fries. Make sure you ask for the pricing of the specials you are interested in. Service was good and friendly.

I only saw it on menu or specials at lunch time. At dinner they said they did not serve it regularly, but it I wanted it I could request it, but the price I was charged was so high and same amount of food as the lunch version.
I've been there often and have never seen anyone fishing. It is a restaurant so you should call first to see what their options are for you to fish.
Fried gator appetizer was great but definitely not meal size.

Im here in Sarasota County. We went there 2 weeks ago. They were fine. Sarasota never really got hit. My friends in Venice all went to Sarasota during Irma. We rode it out in a mobile home park in Venice. Philippe Creek was untouched. Good food, good service, no worries.
