Not sure how the foid is... However, the food is very good. Down home cooking with generous portions. Service is fast and friendly. Edit: I forgot, the pies are huge and excellent.

They are not open on Thanksgiving but take pie orders to be picked up either Tuesday or Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

No buffet, but turkey is a regular on the menu. For Thanksgiving you can order their whole pies up to 2 weeks in advance and just swing by and pick them up.

They have a gift shop with an assortment of everything from cards to gifts. I picked several, they were not Amish nor made by Yoder's the clerk said. They were still attractive and I will mail them.

Yes, I did see some gluten free items. I just went to the market, deli, and the ice cream shop.

Yes there is 4 or 5 picnic tables there. As for your pet, there are no signs posted saying "no pets allowed". So, i guess it would be up to the others sitting in the area. If your pet is well behaved and not bothering others then I wouldn't see any issues. There are Amish family's that eat there (outside) regularly and I am unfamiliar with their customs and or how they might react to animals in the eating area. There was two full families dining when we stopped and ate outside. Very nice and friendly though, great peaceful relaxing enviroment to have a meal at.

They can be purchased for takeout, but don't expect a box arriving at your door with a coconut cream pie in it. Their baked goods do not have preservatives only natural ingredients they're best served fresh.
