Having recently downsized to a small house in Weeki Wachee and after weeks of frustration trying to find an honest, reliable and skilled handyman, I finally did in Bob Swartley. I am very thankful now that I did experience the worst before experiencing the best. Bob was able to correct errors another "handyman" had made. Besides several smaller jobs like installing a ceiling fan (that proved not to be a simple task due to faulty wiring), Bob removed an ugly leaking window over the bathtub (which involved removing and replacing part of the wall on the enclosed sun room) and installed and framed a beautiful tile medallion (pictured).We thought that the heat from the dryer was not vented and going directly into the attic. Two "handymen" had gone into the attic and verified that was the case. One had given an estimate of $135 to correct this. I asked Bob to include that on my list of jobs. He looked and found that it was already vented to the outside! Not only that, but he found that there was an attic fan that wasn't running because the thermostat was set so high it wasn't turning on. He set it lower without even charging. Bob underestimates his value and could charge a lot more than he does because he is worth it! He and his wife, Lisa, are also two of the nicest people in Hernando County.

Bob and Lisa are amazing! We had a situation that we thought might require some creative thinking and Lisa immediately had a solution. Bob took his time looking at the possible challenges and came up with a plan A and plan B. They are professional, honest and dependable. Workmanship was superb! Bob and Lisa are the only people we use for all of our projects.

I injured my hand and couldn’t complete a variety of projects that needed to be done in order to call for a final inspection. It included installing exterior combination doors, framing, finishing, drywall, electrical, replacing steps, ventilation work. I contacted RS Handyman and I couldn’t be happier that I did. Bob did an excellent job, he is very knowledgeable, consciences, meticulous, and takes pride in his work. He made positive suggestions and recommendations that paid off. It is obvious he enjoys his work. He is totally dependable and punctual, his word is his bond. Even when my hand heals, when I have more projects to do I will call Bob as he is dependable and his prices are very fair.

I almost hate to write this review..I don't want to lose my handy man to other people but he's too good not to tell people! He's done chimney repair, installed French drains, put up gutters and there is more to come! So honest and very fair prices. But sometimes I think he's not fair to himself! I totally trust him and he is very thorough with every job.
